Dr. Li Yonglu, Director of the Wound Repair Department at Tianjin 272 Hospital, shared an online case study on the application of the thermosensitive biomaterial 'Smart Protective Adhesive' combined with PRP in radiation-induced refractory ulcers.

After radiotherapy for the tumor, the palm of the patient developed ulcers and pus discharge for more than a year. Conventional dressing changes were ineffective, and the patient was referred to the oncology department.

Following surgical debridement, PRP gel was applied to the wound, combined with negative pressure drainage. Granulation tissue grew rapidly, the wound began to close, and initial results were observed. The patient proactively requested a second treatment.

After using the thermosensitive biomaterial 'Smart Protective Gel' in combination with PRP treatment, the wound completely closed and healed within 6 weeks. Significant therapeutic results were achieved.
